• Lake Oswego argues against developer's lawsuit (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego is fighting a $9.6 million lawsuit from a developer who claims city stormwater runoff created wetlands that reduced buildable land and property value on a Goodall Road site. The city disputes any wrongdoing, argues the statute of limitations has expired, and awaits a court decision on its motion for summary judgment before a trial currently set for early July.
   

• Lake Oswego gets serious about economic development, business support (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego is ramping up its economic development efforts, hiring a new manager and refining a strategy aimed at supporting local businesses and attracting more visitors. A recent market study found strong but underserved retail demand, very low vacancy in retail space, and high office vacancies, prompting the city to rethink how it markets itself and works with the Chamber of Commerce.
   

• Sunset swimmers have big plans in 2026 (forestgrovenewstimes.com) — Lake Oswego’s 2022 state relay record is in the crosshairs as Sunset High’s standout swimmers gear up for the 2026 OSAA 6A championships. Senior stars Luca Ignatescu and Victor Krautsov are chasing both individual state records and a long-awaited team title, hoping a strong supporting cast can finally push the Apollos past rival Jesuit.
