Officers also handled garage-door checks, loud parties, suspicious vehicles, prank door-knocking, and a dog-on-dog attack, offering a snapshot of neighborhood safety concerns after the holidays.

Eugene City Manager final candidates announced (kpic.com) — Lake Oswego’s city manager, Martha Bennett, is one of three finalists to become Eugene’s next city manager, reflecting regional recognition of her leadership. Oregon Lands Commitment From Nevada Kicker Keaton Emmett (on3.com subscription) — A former Lakeridge High School standout from Lake Oswego, kicker Keaton Emmett, has committed to continue his college career with the Oregon Ducks. After stints at Western Oregon and Nevada, he’ll bring two years of eligibility and strong kickoff experience to Eugene, stepping into a key role as Oregon prepares for life after its current starting kicker graduates.
   

4. Oregon economist paints mixed 2026 outlook at Lake Oswego talk (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego residents just heard state economist Carl Riccadonna share a cautiously upbeat 2026 outlook at Lakewood Center for the Arts, hosted by the Lake Oswego Rotary Club. He said recession risks have eased and national growth is improving, but warned Oregon still lags because of slower population growth, sector shifts in jobs, commercial real estate troubles and stubborn inflation pressures.
