Medford man facing apartment issues regarding his emotional support animals (kobi5.com) — A Medford tenant with disabilities says he’s struggling to get his emotional support animals properly approved at Morning Side Apartments, despite having documentation and certification. He and his mother report repeated paperwork hurdles with a third-party screening service and say management has not been responsive to resolving the issue.
   

2. Turf Replacement Underway at Lithia & Driveway Fields in Medford (kobi5.com) — Medford is replacing the aging artificial turf on two heavily used baseball fields at Lithia & Driveway, with work on Field Nine nearly finished and Field Seven up next. The under-budget project also frees funds to resurface Harry & David Field, home of the Medford Rogues, helping keep this major sports hub in top shape for spring seasons and year-round play.
   

3. Aetna is back to covering Providence Oregon - Becker's Payer Issues (beckerspayer.com) — If you rely on Providence Medford Medical Center and have Aetna insurance, your hospital and Providence South Physicians are back in-network as of November 15. A new multiyear deal between Aetna and Providence Oregon restores in-network access for commercial and Medicare Advantage members, with all Providence facilities statewide now covered again for Aetna commercial plans.
   

4. A local 6-year-old boy and his father are fighting for their lives after a tragic burn accident. (kdrv.com) — From Medford comes heartbreaking news about 6-year-old Oli from Selma, who suffered severe burns in a burn-pile accident and now faces years of surgeries and lifelong pain. His father was also badly burned trying to save him, and the family is relying on community support and a GoFundMe campaign to manage mounting medical costs.
