• Oregon City now enforcing Civil Exclusion Zone downtown (kptv.com) — Downtown Oregon City is now under a newly enforced Civil Exclusion Zone, allowing police to temporarily ban people who commit nuisance crimes from a large stretch of Main Street and nearby roads. Exclusions can last 30 to 90 days for repeat offenses, and police say it’s aimed at chronic offenders, not people who are simply camping. Some business owners are cautiously optimistic it will make downtown feel more welcoming.
