• Once-in-a-lifetime vintage clothing sale coming soon to Springfield (registerguard.com) — A massive vintage clothing and costume sale is happening this weekend at 4660 Main St. in Springfield, offering locals a rare chance to shop a 50-year collection. The late Linda Collins’ Nobody’s Baby and Time Warp Costume Rentals inventory includes clothing, furniture, artwork, and housewares, with thousands of one-of-a-kind pieces. Sale hours run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
   

• Springfield man missing after mushroom picking near Mapleton (kezi.com) — A 32-year-old Springfield man, Erik Everardo Aguilar-Cisneros, is missing after going mushroom picking near Hadsall Creek Road west of Eugene, where Lane County search teams are working rugged terrain with K9s and drones. Authorities describe his appearance and clothing and urge anyone with information to call the Lane County Sheriff’s Office tip line.
   

• Lane County awards grants to seven nonprofits boosting local economic development (kval.com) — Lane County has awarded economic development grants to seven nonprofits, including the Eugene/Springfield NAACP, to boost jobs, childcare, and small business support across the region. Programs will strengthen childcare wages, train youth for healthcare careers, support immigrant-owned businesses, and help unhoused residents gain industrial sewing skills. These investments aim to improve economic opportunity for families throughout Lane County, including Springfield.
