'Wizard of Oz' Showing At Hiway Theater Saturday. Here's How To Get Tickets Cheap

JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, PA — We have all seen it maybe a 100 times.

Before our eyes, the screen changed from the black and white Kansas skies hit by a tornado to the captivating Technicolor magical land.

We saw Dorothy, Toto, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion. And who could forget when the Wicked Witch of The West flashed in a storm of fire that became the villain we featured long before Darth Vader entered our world.

But have you ever seen "The Wizard of Oz" on the Big Screen?

The Highway Theater will showcase the classic movie during its $5 Family Matinee Series on Saturday.

The cherished masterpiece is based on the novel by L. Frank Baum, and features dazzling special effects, set design, and classic performances by Judy Garland in her most iconic role.
