AAC 'Uncorked'

Abington Art Center offers a preview to its Solo Series ... paired with wine

 

Is there a better pair than wine and art? OK, maybe wine and cheese, or wine and chocolate, but they’re not nearly as interesting to look at.

Tonight, the Abington Art Center will hold “Uncorked: Pairings of Art, Wine and Food.

The event will feature contemporary artwork from artists:

  • Lorraine Glessner
  • Colin Keefe
  • Lisa Nanni and
  • Heather Ujiie

Each artist is part of the Abington Art Center’s Solo Series 2012 this summer. The series kicks off May 20 with a public reception and opening party.

In addition to art, “Uncorked” will feature music, an auction, food and wine from the following companies:

"Uncorked" starts at 7:30 p.m. in the outdoor pavilion. Tickets are $75, or $55 for a “designated driver” ticket.
