Abington Police Have Added A Therapy Dog To Help Groups Impacted By Traumatic Events
A new therapy dog, that will aid community members suffering through trauma or violence, still does not have a name. Suggestions are sought.

ABINGTON, PA — The Abington Township Police Department has added a new, four-legged member to its ranks.
Police officials announced this week that the department adopted a new Golden Doodle rescue dog from the Home at Last Dog Rescue.
The pooch, which does not yet have a name, will primarily be used as a therapy dog to promote interaction with the community and to help residents who have suffered through incidents of violence or other traumatic events, according to the police department, which made the announcement via social media.
