Defiant trespassing and resisting arrest … Seth Jordan Fields, 19, of Conlyn Street, Philadelphia, was arrested May 29 at 2:02 p.m. after he screamed and yelled at a Sears loss prevention officer and police as his friend was being detained for retail theft, police said. According to police, Fields was told to leave the mall and continued to yell at police. When police attempted to take Fields into custody, Fields fled.

A loss prevention officer said Fields shoved and struck him as well as two other loss prevention officers. Fields also attempted to jump on the backs of the loss prevention officers, police said. 

Fields’ friend, Aaron Jackson, 18, of Easton Road, Glenside, was issued a non-traffic citation for theft; he stole $3.29 worth of merchandise, police said. 

DUI and careless driving … James Kalinoski, 50, of Meyer Avenue, Ardsley, was arrested April 24 at 8 p.m. following a traffic stop for swerving and crossing over the double yellow lines on Edge Hill road; Kalinoski almost drove off the road and almost struck the curb and a utility police, police said.

According to police, Kalinoski smelled of alcohol and had extremely slurred speech. He failed a field sobriety test and was "very uncooperative" with police; his blood alcohol content was 0.179 percent, police said.

DUI and reckless driving … Kenneth Steacker, 49, of Old York Road, Jenkintown was arrested April 6 at 4:43 p.m. following a two-car crash in the corner of Fox Chase and Cedar Roads, police said. According to police Steacker had an “obvious odor” of alcohol on his breath and had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. He was also unsteady on his feet and needed assistance in walking.

Steacker had a blood alcohol content of 0.136 percent and his blood tested positive for several illegal narcotics, police said. The occupants of the vehicle that Steacker struck — including a small child — were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
