Abington Police Reports

Harassment … Tanisha McCoy, 34, of Easton Road, Glenside, was arrested May 21 at 3:39 p.m. after McCoy refused to leave an apartment in the 200 block of Easton Road from which she was evicted, police said. According to police, as an employee was attempting to secure the door, McCoy pushed past the employee, striking the employee with her shoulder.

Public drunkenness … Tarik Frison, 22, of Hilldale Road, Glenside, was arrested May 20 at 1:24 a.m. after Frison had been involved in a fight and cut his hand when he punched a window, police said. Frison was found walking along Keswick Avenue.

Harassment and disorderly conduct … Jeffrey Collier, 21, of Bayard Street, Philadelphia, was arrested May 19 at 9:11 p.m. after he had been following the complainant, a Willow Grove Park mall employee, for the last two weeks after the complainant told Collier to stop, police said. According to police, Collier had been told twice by mall security and once by police not to return to the mall. Collier was cursing at store employees and mall patrons.

Disorderly conduct … Paris Williams, 33, of Fairview Avenue, Willow Grove, was arrested May 18 at 12:07 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Easton Road in which Williams was found to have a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle, police said.

Scattering rubbish … Carmen Reale, 19, of Edge Hill Road, Glenside, was arrested May 17 at 7:08 p.m. after a witness saw Reale throw trash from his vehicle along the 700 block of Castlewood Road, police said. According to police, the witness asked Reale to pick it up; he refused and cursed at the witness.

Retail theft … Thomas Rigney, 78, of Highland Avenue, Jenkintown, was arrested May 16 at 3:32 p.m. after he stole one beer from a case after making a separate purchase at Big Top Beverage in the 1500 block of Easton Road, police said.

Disorderly conduct … Arlene Smolarski, 54, of East Boston Street, Philadelphia, was arrested May 14 at 12:29 a.m. following a traffic stop in the corner of Township Line Road and Zane Avenue in which Smolarski was found to have a small bag of marijuana in her possession, police said.

Underage drinking … Matthew Hindin, 19, of Blue Jay Road, Roslyn; Teresa Coates, 20, of Limekiln Pike, Glenside; Jayme McAleer, 20, of Hillcrest Avenue, Glenside; Grace Gallagher, 19, of Cliveden Avenue, Glenside; and Kelsey King, 20, of Broadmoor Drive, Willow Street, Pa., were all issued non-traffic citations on May 13 at 1:52 a.m. following a call to the 1400 block of Blue Jay Road after a noise complaint, police said. Beer cans were visible on an outdoor table and on the lawn as the crowd attempted to disperse

Public drunkenness … Gentry Collins, 22, of Verbena Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested May 12 at 6:27 p.m. after the manager of the Wine and Spirits store in the 900 block of Old York Road saw Collins walking barefoot in the store, using profanity and cutting in front of customers in line, police said. Collins refused to leave the store.
