Abington Police Reports — Summary Arrests

Annoying dogs and an annoying guy

 

Disorderly conduct … John McAllister, 31, of Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested April 25 at 12:11 p.m. following a traffic stop in the corner of Old Welsh Road and Reservoir Avenue in which police searched the vehicle and found a glass pipe and two packages of synthetic marijuana, police said.

 Public drunkenness … William Boiston, 53, of Ben Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, was arrested April 24 at 11:07 a.m. after police responded to Starbucks after Boiston, who had been told not to return to the store, was in the store, intoxicated and disturbing and annoying customers, police said.

Harassment and defiant trespassing … Joshua Gibson, 20, of Cedar Street, Jenkintown, was arrested April 19 at 4:37 p.m. after Gibson was found in Abington Memorial Hospital by security after being told not to return, police said. According to police, as Gibson was being escorted out, he struck a security officer in the face.

Harassment and disorderly conduct … Joel Carter, 18, of Girard Avenue, North Hills, was arrested April 18 at 4:08 p.m. following a call to the 200 block of Easton Road after witnesses saw Carter pushing and hitting the complainant, police said. Carter was confrontational with police.

Public drunkenness … Regina Siler, 38, of Old York Road, Jenkintown, was arrested April 18 at 2:28 a.m. following a call to an alarm at Dick’s Sporting Goods, police said. According to police, Siler was found barely coherent, under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, attempting to enter the store.

PA dog laws: Unlicensed dog and preventative rabies vaccination … Jerry Soto, 48, of Miriam Avenue, Abington, was issued a non-traffic citation April 6 at 12:07 a.m. for permitting his dog to bark at late hours while outside, causing a nuisance, police said.

PA dog laws: Harboring a dangerous dog and unlicensed dog … Carlos Londono, 28, of West Avenue, Elkins Park, was issued a non-traffic citation March 26 at 7:06 p.m. after his dog, without provocation, attacked and seriously injured the complainant’s dog in the 100 block of West Avenue, police said. During the attack, the complainant fell and was injured.
