Abington Pooch Plunge: Bring Your Pup To Penbryn Pool Sept. 11

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—The dog days of summer may be over, but the dogs' day at Penbryn Pool is coming up next weekend.

The Penbryn Pooch Plunge will be Sunday, September 11 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Abington Township announced. Owners are encouraged to bring their dogs (no more than two per person) and enjoy the water before pool season ends.

It is $10 to register online or the day of the event. Penbryn Park and Pool is located at 300 Houston Avenue in Glenside.

Here are the rules for the event:

• No more than 2 dogs per handler
• All handlers must be at least 18 years of age or older
• All dogs must be licensed and up to date on all vaccinations
• Prior to entrance, all owners will be required to complete a Hold Harmless Agreement
• No puppies under 4 months of age
• All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
