Abington Township, PA — Back-to-school season brings a mix of excitement and nerves — for students, parents and staff alike. Thankfully, Abington Township is home to everyday school heroes who help make the transition smoother and the school year a little brighter.

Please describe why this individual is a hero at your school.

My child was outside while her and her friend were playing a game of kicking off their UGGs to see how high they can go up. Well my child's shoe landed on the school roof. When Miss Anthony found out that this student was walking around with one shoe she went out on her lunch break and bought her a new pair of shoes. This teacher goes above and beyond for her students!
