Actor Bradley Cooper Surprises Bucks Co. Boy With Super Bowl Tickets

The tickets were presented to a sick Philadelphia Eagles fan by the Abington Township native during Tuesday's NBC's "TODAY" show.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Hollywood Actor Bradley Cooper is among the biggest Philadelphia Eagles fans on the planet.

You see the Abington Township native cheering at every game and usually seated in a suite at Lincoln Financial Field or near Owner Jeffrey Lurie's box.

So it's not surprising that Cooper surprised a Doylestown boy with Super Bowl LIX tickets during an appearance on Tuesday morning on NBC's "Today" show.

While Declan LeBaron was being interviewed by the anchors of the show, Cooper stepped onto the stage to present the sick Eagles fan with tickets to Sunday's Super Bowl LIX game between the Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs as confetti cascaded down from the ceiling.

LeBaron, who is fighting systemic juvenile arthritis and has made repeated trips to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for pain treatment, gained international prominence after he appeared in a viral video taken by Zachery Dereniowski, known online as MD Motivator. MD has amassed more than 11 million followers with his giveaway videos.

In the video, MD asks LeBaron, "Would you rather have $1,000 in cash or a mystery bird?"
Without hesitation, LeBaron replies, "Mystery bird ... I just like the Eagles a lot," he explains.

After learning the boy is headed to an Eagles party at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he has been receiving treatments for systemic juvenile arthritis and for pain, MD gives the young Eagles fan $1,000 in cash and tickets to see the Eagles play the Washington Commanders for the NFC Championship.

LeBaron is later seen in the video sharing his money with a lot of grateful shoppers at the Dollar Tree store.

When asked by the TODAY Show anchors why he was giving away the money, Declan said his teacher had talked about "paying it forward," said the NBC10 Post.
