Ardsley Park Gets New Playground In Abington
Abington Township officials recently gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new park at Ardsley Park last week.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Ardsley Park has a new playground.
Township officials gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Thursday to celebrate the installation of the new playground at Ardsley Park.
The ceremony included new Township Manager Christopher Christman, Commissioners Matt Vahey and Dennis Zappone, and township residents and staff.

"We hope everyone enjoys the new playground and look forward to continuing to improve our parks," officials said.

Removal of old playground equipment began in late November with the installation of the new equipment in early December.
The project was one of four involving township parks over the past several months.
