Bomb Threat Made At Cheltenham High School: Report
The Cheltenham Schools Superintendent sent an alert about the alleged bomb threat to the community on Thursday morning, a report stated.
CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — An alleged bomb threat at Cheltenham High School prompted a community alert from the school district's top official on Thursday, according to a report.
Schools Superintendent Brian Scriven issued a notice to the school community regarding a “threatening post” involving the high school, Glenside Local reported.
According to the superintendent's alert, a post was made around midnight and alleged a bomb threat.

Scriven said the FBI “immediately flagged the post, and determined the photo was for Cheltenham High School. Cheltenham police notified High School Principal Ben Hammond around 6 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities said the bomb threat came from a Philadelphia residence, and the FBI deemed the threat to be non-credible after speaking with and releasing a student, who said they made the post as a joke.
