Church Road Traffic Patterns Changing In Cheltenham
Cheltenham Police said traffic patterns will change 24/7 as the Church Road intersection Improvements Project enters its next stage.

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Long-term traffic detours are in place as the Church Road Intersection Improvements Project enters its next stage.
Cheltenham Police said PennDOT's construction contractor is implementing the following long-term traffic patterns to be in place 24/7 through the project's completion at the end of 2026.
The new traffic patterns are:

- Church Road will be open for eastbound traffic between Rices Mill Road and Washington Lane.
- Greenwood Avenue will be open for northbound traffic between 309 and Township Line Road.
- Vehicles traveling west on Church Road or south on Greenwood Avenue will be detoured via Township Line Road, Washington Lane, 309, and Easton Road
Allan Myers, LP of Worcester, Pennsylvania, is the general contractor on the $10,824,555 project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
Physical construction on the project is expected to finish in the fall of 2027.
