Free Parking, Holiday Drive Starts In Jenkintown

People can park for free during the holiday season, Jenkintown Borough officials have announced.

JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The holiday season has begun in the borough with the start of a holiday giving drive and free parking being offered next week.

Borough officials announced that free holiday parking will start on Thanksgiving and run through the end of the year.

The free parking will be offered only on Saturdays and Sundays, officials said. All parking fees are waived on those days on the street or in either municipal lot.

Officials said there is no charge for parking in the borough after 6 p.m. every day.

The drive supports the Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, PA. These items will provide comfort, encourage self-expression, and support cognitive development for children (0-18 years) healing from trauma.
