Huntingdon Pike Getting Potholes Patched This Week
PennDOT said repairs will last all week on Route 232 in Abington Township.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A township highway will be patched up this week as PennDOT repairs potholes on more than 65 state highways in the Philadelphia region.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that maintenance crews will be working on state highways this week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.

PennDOT would like to remind motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting www.customercare.penndot.pa.gov.
To date, since Jan. 1, District 6 has received over 2,500 customer concerns regarding potholes.
