JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A section of Greenwood Avenue will be closed throughout the day on Friday to replace a traffic device at a key intersection, borough officials said.

Borough officials said that Greenwood Avenue between Leedom Street and York Road will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Jenkintown Borough Traffic Consortium is replacing the traffic device at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and York Road.

Northbound lane closures of York Road at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and York Road will be taking place during this time to allow for the work to be safely completed in this area, officials said.

If there is an emergency, borough officials said residents should call 911.
