Letters To Santa: Abington Boy Wants Special Christmas For Mom, Dad

Patch teamed up with T-Mobile to share letters to Santa Claus from local youths. See the holiday wish George of Abington wants fulfilled.

ABINGTON, PA — Writing a letter to Santa is a treasured tradition for many Abington families. They’re a lens into the magic of the holiday season through the eyes of a child.

We’ve partnered with T-Mobile so we can all share in their joy. This letter, submitted by Rachael Nichols in Abington, was written by 11-year-old George:

“Dear Santa,
There was a few things that I wanted to ask you for Christmas, because I believe I have been on your nice list (almost) all year. But I wanted to write you and ask if it would be possible for you to help my family (mom and dad) instead. As you already know it's been a very hard few years and things have been rough for us. Dad has been busy keeping us going while mom pushes through the Big C (again), We are so proud of her and how much she is fighting. She home schools us as well, you know we live in a RV full time but it's getting colder and harder for Mom & Dad I see it and what it's doing to them both they try there hardest for us no matter how hard it gets. I wanted to send a letter just to ask if maybe you'd be able to come up with a good idea (present) for them well us. I'm 11 years old and I have 2 sisters Gabby 7 & Grasie 6 (you knew that lol) It would be nice to see them both smile again and less stressed. Thank you for everything you have given me for Christmas last year. By the way they don't know I'm sending this to you ❄️❄️☃️. I hope you have a great night...
MERRY CHRISTMAS SANTA
Thanks a bunch
Georgie P,”

Please note: Your (child’s) letter may be shared with your community to help spread holiday cheer. All fulfillment requests need to be routed separately to the North Pole and/or Santa himself. In other words, these letters are just for fun: Santa won’t be checking the lists on Patch.
