Milling, Paving Will Close Section Of Jenkintown Road

JENKINTOWN, PA —Milling and paving will take place Tuesday, and a section of Wyncote Road will be closed for most of the day, borough officials said.

Borough officials were informed that A & E Construction will close Wyncote Road between Washington Lane and York Road.

The road closure takes place between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., officials said.

The road closure is for the safety of the general public and the contractors performing work in the area.

During the milling operation, residents will have limited access to their driveways.

While the paving material is being applied, the road will be closed to traffic until the paving material can be properly applied and can cool to a temperature safe for vehicular traffic.

Please avoid the area and make plans to take an alternative route, borough officials said.
