Missing Teenager Sought In Eastern Montgomery County
Madison Morris, 16, is being sought in Abington Township. She hasn't been in school since mid-October.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in this eastern Montgomery County community say they are looking for a 16-year-old missing girl who has not been in school since mid-October.
Madison Morris is believed to be staying with unknown friends in the area, but her family is seeking her safe return.
Since she ran away, Morris returned home for only brief periods of time, at least twice, while no one else was in the home in order to grab a change of clothing, according to the Abington Township Police Department.

She has friends who reside in the 1500 block of Rothley Avenue in the Willow Grove section of the township, as well as at the 100 Old York Road Apartment complex in the Jenkintown section of the community, according to a community alert from Abington Township Police Detective Cindy Pettinato.
The last day Morris attended school was on Oct. 13, Pettinato said.
