Abington, Jenkintown & Glenside have all replaced their parking meters with a parking APP that is driving business away from the local shops. There are many who will never install this APP on their phones and for good reason. As such, I no longer shop at my local businesses where these parking APP's are being used. As with EZPass, scammers have now gotten into the Parking APP and are sending bogus warning to users that they are delinquent in paying the parking fees. It's just another scam that has been foisted upon us by missguided bureaucrats who think we all live and die on a smartphone. Now, in addition to destroying the small business tax base, they have lured scammers into our lives. I would advise everyone remove this APP from their phones.
