Bring Your Pups To Penbryn Park And Pool Saturday For A Pooch Plunge Summer Sendoff
Help Abington Township wrap up the summer season with a dog swim this weekend. The Penbryn Pooch Plunge will take place Saturday 11 to 1pm.

ABINGTON, PA — With summer nearly behind us, take an opportunity this weekend to say goodbye to swimming season by taking a dip in a local pool with your pup.
The township is hosting the Penbryn Pooch Plunge on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Penbryn Park and community pool at 300 Houston Ave. in the Glenside section of the township.
Owns can bring their dogs (no more than two dogs per handler) to the pool for a summer farewell swim. The cost is $10 per dog and all dog handlers must be at least 18 years of age.

Dogs in attendance must be licensed and up to date on their vaccinations, and no puppies under 4 months of age will be allowed to attend.
Pet owners will be required to bring copies of their animals' vaccination paperwork in order to be admitted to the event. A hold harmless agreement will also need to be filled out for the township prior to pool splash play.
