Penn State Abington Students Discuss Mental Health Following Nationwide Athlete Suicides

Two Penn State Abington students & a faculty member were recently featured in a news segment about mental health following athlete suicides.

ABINGTON, PA — A pair of student athletes from Penn State University's Abington campus recently went on a local television news program to discuss mental health amidst a spate of student athlete suicides nationwide.

MaryKate Smith and Mohamed Mansaray, both college seniors, along with licensed psychologist Karen Gould, recently appeared in a segment on Fox 29 news about the ongoing problem with student athletes taking their own lives and the services that are made available to college students who are battling mental health issues.
