Police Seeking Suspicious Man Talking to Children

The man asked two boys to meet him at his car to share candy in Glenside.

 

Abington Police are looking for a man who asked two boys to meet him at his car to share candy.

On Friday at about 7 p.m., a man asked two boys, a 10 year old and an 11 year old, who were walking in the 200 block of Keswick Avenue, if they would share some of their gummy worm candy with him. The man then asked the boys to meet him at his car to share the candy. The boys shared the candy, but did not go to the man’s car.

The boys were on their way to watch a game at Glenside-Weldon School.

The man is described as black, between 20 and 30, and between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. He was wearing glasses and a blue buttoned-down shirt. According to police, the boys believe that his car may have been parked at O’Neill’s Market, but the boys did not see a vehicle.
