Recycle Electronics This Weekend At Abington's Public Works Yard
Laptops, peripherals, calculators, telephones, small appliances, and more items can be recycled Saturday at Abington's Public Works Yard.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — This weekend, Abington Township residents can safely recycle old and unwanted electronic devices.
The township is hosting an "Anything with a Plug" electronic collection event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Public Works Yard.
Pre-registration is required and can be done online here. This service is available to residents of Abington Township only.

- peripherals
- mice
- typewriters
- printers
- telephones
- small appliances
- microwaves
- fax machines
- cell phones
- calculators
The cost of recycle TVs and monitors is $30 each. Wooden console and rear-projection TVs cost $100 to recycle.
Portable air conditioner units are no longer being accepted at this event. Other items not accepted are batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors.
Additionally, the Environmental Advisory Council will be collecting food items on site for Family Promise Montco PA.
The Public Works Yard is located at 2201 Florey Lane.
