See Abington-Area Rainfall Totals From Monday Storms

King of Prussia saw the most rainfall in Montgomery County, but Downingtown saw the most rain in the Philadelphia region, the NWS said.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Tuesday is expected to bring more rain and possibly storms to the Philadelphia region, but how much precipitation did we get from Monday's storms?

According to the National Weather Service, the Abington area saw about an inch and a half of rain.

The most recent data provided by the NWS shows 1.19 inches of rain fell in Glenside.

That total was recorded at 3:13 a.m. by a participant in the Citizen Weather Observer Program.

And in Jenkintown, the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network totaled 1.75 inches at 8 a.m.

King of Prussia had the highest rain total in Montgomery County, with 2.48 inches recorded at 3:20 a.m.

But it was Downingtown in Chester County that saw the most rain in the region.

The NWS reports the Hydrometeorological Automated Data System totaled 3.4 inches at 2:45 a.m.
