ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —SEPTA crews have completed a Grade Crossing Renewal Project at the intersection of Easton and Susquehanna roads.

As part of the week-long project, crews performed additional excavation for a duct bank outside of the track area, installed conduit on the west side of the tracks, removed the existing crossing surface and worn ties and rails, installed new ties and rails, and reconstructed the grade crossing with a new asphalt surface.

The grade crossing and the approaches were milled and paved before the road was reopened to service.
