Sinkhole Opens Near Willow Grove Park Mall

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Abington Township Police Department is alerting drivers and residents about a sinkhole on Moreland Road.

Police said a sinkhole has formed in the right lane of eastbound Moreland Road near Raising Cane’s, just near the Willow Grove Park Mall.

Highway crews are currently setting up barricades, and PennDOT has been notified, police said.

Until repairs are completed, the right lane will remain closed in that area.

Police said drivers should expect delays and use caution when traveling through the zone.
