Snow Emergency Declared In Cheltenham Township
Cheltenham Township has issued a snow emergency Tuesday due to an expected storm bringing snow accumulations to the region.

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Cheltenham Township has declared a snow emergency due to a storm bringing snow accumulations Tuesday night into Wednesday.
With the latest forecasts predicting about three inches of snow, the township is issuing a snow emergency starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday until noon on Wednesday.
Parked cars must be removed from Snow Emergency Routes. Residents should park in driveways wherever possible.

Trash/recycling collection is still on schedule at this time. The Township Building will open on a two-hour delay at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Tuesday: A chance of snow after 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 36. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tuesday night: Snow, mainly before 3 a.m. Low around 29. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Wednesday: A slight chance of snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 10am and 4 p.m., then a chance of rain after 4 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday night: Rain. Low around 34. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Thursday: A chance of rain before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 37.
Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.
