Abington Township is betting against a Missouri town on the Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —For most communities, governments gather employees before the big game and post photos of all of them decked out in Philadelphia Eagles green.
With the Birds playing against the Kansas City Chiefs playing in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, township officials wanted to kick it up a notch.
When two teams play in the championship game, the governors of those states will often make bets.

Well, Abington Township decided to find a community to make a bet with.
"We’ve got a friendly wager with our friends in the City of Blue Springs, Missouri - Municipal Government," officials said.

Here's the bet:
- If the Philadelphia Eagles win, they’re sending us some of their best BBQ.
- If the Kansas City Chiefs win, we’re shipping them our iconic cheesesteaks.
But that’s not all.
The losing mayor or board president will wear the winning team's colors at their next City Council or Board of Commissioners meeting.
"We’re feeling pretty confident—because let’s be honest, nothing beats Philly football! Go Birds!," officials said.
