Abington Police Deputy Chief John Livingood said yesterday that the man police were looking for in Glenside — who allegedly asked two boys to meet him at his car to share some of the boys’ candy last Friday night — publicly identified himself as police were canvassing the area.
The incident happened in the 200 block of Keswick Avenue.

Livingood said police spoke to the man, and asked him about the incident; Livingood described it as a "misunderstanding," and said that the man did not commit a crime, nor was he cited.
Livingood did say that the man should have used more common sense in speaking to the boys.
