Weldon Fire Co. Visits Copper Beech

Last week, coinciding with the National Fire Prevention Association’s Fire Prevention Week, crews from the Weldon Fire Co. visited Copper Beech Elementary School. 

The firefighters taught kindergarten students about fire safety and the roles of firefighters. Students also got the chance to try on the firefighters’ gear, including their jacket, pants and boots.
