The Who are considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century

The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 for creating a legacy of rock opera with "Tommy," the classic "Live at Leeds," and the group's main album "Who's Next."

They also appeared at Woodstock and the Isle of Wight festivals.

Meanwhile, on stage, the band played with such a force that Moon would destroy his drums, Townshend would windmill his guitar and Daltrey would swing his microphone.
