York Road To Close Overnight For PECO Project
Jenkintown officials said the roadwork takes place on Monday and Tuesday. Find out where and when below.

JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A section of York Road will be under construction for two days next week, borough officials said.
Borough officials said that PECO's contractor, J.K. Kiely Construction, will have temporary lane restrictions on York Road at the intersection of West Avenue.
PECO will conduct the work Monday and Tuesday to replace the gas main to be safely completed in the area.

West Avenue will also be closed from York Road to Cottman Street. Work will take place from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Borough officials said the work has been scheduled to take place overnight to minimize disruption to traffic.

Drivers should plan to use alternate routes during the roadwork to avoid disruption.
