Winter Storm Warnings Issued As Snow Arrives In PA: Latest Timing
A winter storm warning is in effect for five southeastern Pennsylvania counties as heavy snow takes aim at the region.
Forecasters have issued a winter storm warning ahead of a weather system that's expected to drop more than 5 inches of snow on parts of the Delaware Valley, according to the latest forecasts.
In a 4 p.m. update, the National Weather Service said a winter storm warning was in effect for eastern Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, eastern Montgomery and lower Bucks counties until 1 p.m. Sunday.
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions," the National Weather Service wrote.
