Annual Rare Whiskey Lotteries Now Open To PA Residents
By entering the lotteries, participants have a chance to purchase one of more than 4,400 bottles of available rare whiskeys.
HARRISBURG, PA — Whiskey fans across the state can enter their names into a statewide lottery this week to purchase rare and highly sought spirits, according to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The agency on Monday announced the start of its limited-release lotteries. More than 4,400 bottles are up for grabs this year, state officials said.
This year's event will feature six products in five separate lotteries. Participants may enter one, several or all lotteries. Winners can purchase one bottle, and every winner selected will be removed from all subsequent drawings.

Bottles up for grabs this year include:
- Blanton's Gold Straight Bourbon
- Blanton's Straight From The Barrel Bourbon
- Eagle Rare Straight Bourbon, 17-year-old 2022 release
- Heaven Hill Heritage Collection Straight Corn Whiskey, 20-year-old 2023 edition
- Russell's Reserve Straight Bourbon, 13-year-old barrel-proof
- Stagg Straight Bourbon, barrel-proof
Pennsylvanians 21 years and older can register for the lotteries online through 5 p.m. Friday. Winners will be selected the week of Oct. 30.

Individual participants and licensees interested in entering the lotteries must have an active account with FWGS.com with billing information on file. All items will be delivered to physical locations and only lottery entrants will be able to pick up bottles after showing a valid ID.
