5 PA Restaurants Among ‘Most Romantic’ In America

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania has some of the most romantic restaurants in the nation, according to one new ranking.

OpenTable’s list of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants In America for 2023 includes five from all around Pennsylvania.

OpenTable released the list in time for Valentine’s Day celebrations — or, for those who prefer, Galetine’s Day and Palentine’s Day alternate holiday celebrations.

In Pennsylvania, restaurants named to the list include:

• 1906 at Longwood Gardens – Kennett Square
• Devon Seafood + Steak - Hershey – Hershey
• Monterey Bay Fish Grotto - Mt. Washington – Pittsburgh
• Parc – Philadelphia
• Talula's Garden – Philadelphia

Some of these are not new additions: Talula's, in particular, has made the list for several years.

"Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants," OpenTable writes in their review of Talula's. "The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a light European touch, changes with the seasons. The artful cuisine, hospitable staff, sustainable spirits, and a focus on cheese make the dining experience here incredibly memorable."

If you plan to celebrate at one of the restaurants, make your reservations now. Last year, more than half of the restaurants on the list were booked by Feb. 7, according to OpenTable.

OpenTable analyzed more than 13 million U.S. diner reviews to develop the list, according to a press release. The list includes restaurants from 27 states, with California leading the list with 13 restaurants. Arizona has nine restaurants on the list, and Florida and Hawaii each have eight.
