6 Killed In Christmas Weekend Crashes In PA: State Police

Impaired driving was identified as a contributing factor in 53 crashes during this time. That number is also nearly double from 2024, which saw 27 DUI-related crashes.
During the five-day holiday weekend, state troopers arrested 207 people for driving under the influence. They also issued 1,502 citations for speeding and 155 citations for failing to wear a seat belt. Additionally, 10 citations were issued for not securing children in safety seats.
