1. A new study by the U.S. Geological Survey found that a majority of Pennsylvania streams contain man-made "forever chemicals," which have been linked to infertility, thyroid problems and several types of cancer. (Read more on Patch)

2. Bam Margera can remain free on bail to work on his sobriety, a judge ruled, after the former "Jackass" star was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Judge Patrick Carmody denied a request from prosecutors to revoke Margera's $50,000 bail in his case involving a fight with his brother, Jesse. (Read more on Patch.)

3. A Pennsylvania community is in mourning after a pregnant mother, her infant, and a 12-year-old boy died in a crash on the way to Niagara Falls for vacation. At least eight of the other victims of the crash remain hospitalized, with some in critical or life-threatening condition. Friends and the community have rallied to raise almost $11,000 for the families. (Read more on Patch.)

4. Officials said a 1-year-old child died Tuesday in southeastern Pennsylvania after falling from a car and accidentally being run over. The infant was unbuckled by an older sibling, and fell out of the vehicle. (Read more on Patch.)

5. The man killed after a 6-hour shootout with Pittsburgh police had a variety of criminal charges against him in the past, court records show. An attempted eviction Wednesday turned into a prolonged shootout, in which officials said thousands of rounds of ammunition were exchanged (Read more on Patch.)
