Big Changes In Eastern PA Forecast Heading Into The Weekend
A rainy spring weekend is possible ahead of summer-like warm temperatures next week, forecasters said.
PENNSYLVANIA - A rainy spring weekend is possible ahead of sustained summer-like temperatures next week, forecasters said.
Friday’s dry forecast will remain mostly cloudy with daytime highs near 70 degrees, the National Weather Service said. The first possible round of light rain is expected Saturday morning, with temperatures expected to rise into the mid-60s by Saturday afternoon.
Sunday will be decidedly warmer with highs in the low 70s and partly sunny skies, the National Weather Service Mount Holly station said in a Friday X post. “A few showers” are possible, but “most places should remain dry,” the weather service added.

Sunday’s temperatures will catapult the Garden State into even warmer weather into the week ahead, with highs in the mid-70s forecast for Monday and temperatures in the high 70s expected Tuesday and Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
AccuWeather reports daytime temperatures will feel summer-like, with RealFeel temperatures near 82 degrees Monday, 86 degrees Tuesday and 85 degrees Wednesday.

Another chance of showers will return Wednesday night into Thursday, the latter of which holds a chance for thunderstorms, AccuWeather added.
Here’s the latest forecast, according to the National Weather Service:
Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. East wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Calm wind.
Saturday: A chance of showers, mainly after 7 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday Night: Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. East wind around 5 mph.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 68. East wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51.
