PENNSYLVANIA - Parts of the Keystone State are already being slammed by over 50 mph winds ahead of a storm set to bring heavy rain, rumbles of thunder and possible flooding to the region, forecasters said.

Between half an inch to an inch of rain is set to fall on eastern Pennsylvania into Friday afternoon , paving the way for potential flooding in parts of the state with ground already saturated from Thursday's storm, according to the National Weather Service.

“We're not quite done yet,” the National Weather Service Mount Holly station wrote Friday morning via X (formerly Twitter). “Showers with locally heavy rain, and even a rumble of thunder, will continue this morning before a drier afternoon takes hold. It will be breezy at times as well, but not quite as windy as last night with temps mostly in the 60s.”
