PENNSYLVANIA - Several rounds of rain slated to hit southeastern Pennsylvania are expected to stop just in time for the Easter Bunny’s arrival on Sunday, forecasters said.

Lingering showers will dissipate Friday morning, complete with a sunny afternoon approaching 50 degrees — although wind gusts as high as 30 mph will make it feel about 20 degrees cooler. The mercury will drop to about 32 degrees Friday night, though wind gusts will remain above 15 mph.

The first half of a mostly sunny 50-degree Saturday is slated to be dry, with a chance of rain into Saturday evening, according to AccuWeather.
“Some spots may end up dry, with less than a quarter-inch of rain even where showers or a briefly steadier period of rain does focus in around midday through Saturday afternoon,” the National Weather Service said in a forecast discussion.

Easter Sunday looks dry and sunny, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s, according to the National Weather Service. Garden State residents are encouraged to enjoy the dry spring-like weather while they can, as stormy conditions are likely to come back on Monday.

Thursday: Rain. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. High near 52. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Thursday Night: Rain, mainly before midnight. Low around 38. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 56. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 38. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of showers before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 62.
Sunday Night: A chance of rain after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
