Mom Of 4 Killed, Body Left In Dumpster Behind PA Bank
Lucrecia E. Jadan Sumba, 39, came to America in 2021 looking for a "better life for her family." Her body was found outside of a bank in PA.
COOPERSBURG, PA — A fundraiser has been set up for a New Jersey mother of four who was killed and left in a dumpster outside of a bank in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
At 5:55 p.m., Lucrecia E. Jadan Sumba, 39, of Elizabeth, NJ, was found dead behind the Santander Bank in the 200 clock of S. 3rd Street in Coopersburg, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said.
An autopsy completed on Monday found that the cause of death was "sharp force injuries." Sumba's death was ruled a homicide.

In addition to the coroner's office, the Elizabeth Police Department in Elizabeth, NJ and the Union County Prosecutor's Office in Elizabeth, NJ is also investigating the case along with the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office and the Coopersburg Police Department.
Since her death, a GoFundMe fundraiser website was set up for Sumba's children — Leonel Corte Jadan (21), Christian Corte Jadan(19), Danny Corte Jadan(18), and Eidan Corte Jadan(5).

"A very hardworking woman, raising her children with love and sacrifices, Lucrecia Elizabeth decided to come to the United States looking for a better future for her family," according to the GoFundMe.
Sumba came to the United States in October 2021 working as a house cleaner and babysitter. She then moved on to work in a nail salon in Elizabeth.
"She started working very hard in collecting the funds to bring her children one by one. Lucrecia Elizabeth has been known to be a hardworking lovely and caring mother, a great coworker, very responsible and always bringing a smile to all around her. She was also known as “La Tia” in her workplace, where not only her coworkers would call her that but also her clients when referring to her in a lovely way," according to the GoFundMe.
