PENNSYLVANIA - Keystone State residents are set to experience a weather week that may feel like multiple seasons, forecasters said, as a late-week winter storm is expected to bring fluctuating temperatures to the region.
Wednesday and Thursday will see temperatures swing upward with highs in the 40s and dry skies ahead of a rain storm slated to bring 1 to 1.5 inches of precipitation to the state starting Thursday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The rain will linger into the early afternoon Friday with highs near 50. The mercury will plummet starting Friday night with a low near 21 degrees, per AccuWeather.

Saturday is expected to see temperatures in the high 30s and sunny skies; the melting snow from last week’s storm and new rain accumulation may freeze over, prompting slippery conditions.
"There could be issues with groundwater freezing and creating slick spots over the weekend," AccuWeather Meteorologist Joseph Bauer said.
