PA Launches Luxury Glamping Sites At State Parks
The special sites feature large, walk-in, canvas tents, real beds, electricity, and both heating and air conditioning.

Pennsylvanians will soon have a new way to enjoy overnight experiences in state parks beyond the traditional tent and camper.
The state is launching new "glamping" sites, short for glamorous camping, at eight different parks around the state by spring 2026.
Officials say the move is designed to open access to nature for a broader population.

"This new offering is another way we're ensuring that our state parks remain welcoming and enjoyable for all Pennsylvanians," Cindy Dunn, the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, said in a statement. "By transforming underused campsites into beautiful glamping experiences, we're expanding overnight options in a way that's affordable, sustainable, and beneficial to local communities."
Some 61 glamping sites will be developed at eight different state parks, including Promised Land, Poe Valley, Laurel Hill, Codorus, Hills Creek, Pymatuning, Hickory Run, and French Creek.
