TOP says that Halloween candy sales actually fell in 2020 by 19 percent, a statistic that is likely attributable to the early days of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The agency said that candy sales increased by about 11 percent in 2021 and that sales are forecasted to rise about 23 percent in 2022.

The other most popular candies in states across the country appear to be Skittles, M&Ms, Snickers and Milky Way bars.
