PODCAST: Bucks County Moms Battle Pols For Facts On School COVID Policy

Jamie Cohen Walker is a Bucks County parent and a former teacher. Megan Brock is also a Bucks County parent, and a former nurse. But they’ve both got new titles, thanks to the actions of Bucks County government: Open records activists.

They join News Editor Linda Stein on the DVJ podcast to talk about their months-long fight against Bucks County bureaucrats to get the facts about how the county came up with its COVID policy at the height of the pandemic.

DVJournal has reported on the strange role of a political operative, messages from then-Gov. Tom Wolf and a local health official apparently being overridden by politicians. Whatever happened, Bucks County officials are going to court rather than releasing the documents to the public.
